Hokkaido GIN is made in this device. The guide said that the alcohol was brought from other place such as the headquarter brewery in Niigata Prefecture and the botanical flavor is sourced locally in Hokkaido. The spycy flavors of Yachi willow and Japanese mint are included. 

The malt is crushed in this room and carried to the next room. They are soaked in the tank and moved to the pot still. The first whisky distilled was packed in the barrel and sleeping in the warehouse now. Next year, they will be sold as the first generation of the distillery.
The devices were made in Europe. The first investment to this distillery must have been a small fortune even for the aged Japanese sake brewery in Niigata. Anyway, as the citizen in Hokkaido, I appreciate the company's adventure to Hokkaido.
