In front of the cenotaph for the deceased in Iguazu Community, Alto Parana, Paraguay, the Vice Governor Mr. Yusuke NAKANO, the Speaker of Hokkaido Legislative Assembly Mr. Noritoshi MURATA and his wife Mrs. Noriko MURATA
offered flowers to the memorial monument and bowed.

They took photos with the current President of Paraguay Hokkaido Society Mr. Naoki SHIROSAWA whose wife is so beautiful. A huge cross was on the top of the monument.

Other members of Paraguay Hokkaido Association joined the photo. They had prepared well-in-advance for the 80th Anniversary Event of Hokkaido immigrants. All of them should be praised for their efforts exerted to keep the community so well.
