As the water in Nukabira Lake was lesser than usual, some parts of the bed in the lake were exposed to the air as that were before the dam was built albeit no trees and grasses were on the surface.
The depth of the lake fluctuates so much in a year and a ruin of the bridge for railway emerges every year on the other side of the lake.
I've never seen a angler enjoy fishing around this lake but I am not sure if any fish are living in this lake or not. We did not drop by Nukabira Onsen Valley but it is one of my favorite spots to stay in Hokkaido. Would you agree, Norm ?
