The railway station facing Okhotsk Ocean has never washed by the salt water before but the proximity seemed to be dangerous in a sense. It seemed to be only several meters from the waves and no embankment was between the railway and the ocean.
I've never heard of Ohtsunami on the coast facing Okhotsk ocean but the railway looked so vulnerable. The railway station of Kitahama is very popular place for train manias to visit and take photos.
I chose pork cutlet curry rice and my wife went to pork chap in the cafe of the station on that day. We have to save the space in our stomach to have nice dinner of sea food in the evening on that day.
