After the welcome remarks by the former Speaker of Hokkaido Legislative Assembly Mr. Ren Endo who had been the strong driving force to establish the Sister-state Affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii, the Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Kodama delivered a welcome remarks in front of the friends of Japan including Hokkaido.
Finishing their role to play in the opening ceremony of Hokkaido Fair in Honolulu 2023, the core delegation members from Hokkaido Prefecture visited the branch of the Ramen Noodle Soup Restaurant headquartered in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
The CEO of the restaurant chain kindly visited Honolulu at the same occasion and gave a briefing to the Vice Governor and other members. The restaurant provided the customers with the sweets made in Hokkaido on top of the signature ramen noodle soup.
