It must be the best point to take photos with the peak of Mt. Usu and the crater. We reached the another lookout on the south rim of the crater. The wooden sign plate and the map was set in the direction of the bottom of the crater.
There were washroom and benches with a table on that site. It may be a good place for hiking and having lunch. It was raining a little bit but the sight was clear and even the slight rainfall was refreshing for us.
To reach there, we had to go down the steep stairs on the trail and up the mild slope. Needless to say, we had to go back the same trail. My wife was annoyed by the muscle pain on her calves for a week. She never do any kinds of exercise on weekdays.
