One of the leaders of Hokkaido Club in Hawaii Mr. James Suzuki visited International Affairs Division of Hokkaido Prefectural Government. They give a good support to the State of Hawaii and our government as well as the businesses in both regions. I have to say that we could not establish a sister-state relationship between Hokkaido and Hawaii without their support and initiatives.
The solid, beneficial and everlasting relationship will and should be developed and handed down to the next generation even in the changes of the people in charge of the relationship and the generation in both regions.
