Hokkaido-Alberta-Heilongjiang, Friends !

The National Curling Team of Canada visited Sapporo in August of 2016 to win the games of Sapporo Curling Classic of that year.

All the members are from Alberta that established the Sister-state relationship with Hokkaido in 1980. The Albertan team was the national team at that time.

Why did they join the game in the next year of our anniversary year ? Because 2016 was the 30 anniversary year of the friendship affiliation between Hokkaido and Heilongjiang, China.
