To be honest, some of the sliced salmons were from Alaska but of course, they also processd withb those landed in Hokkaido.
These fish called "Hokke" in Japanese are normally 6 US dollars in Hokkaido but it costs 14 dollars of each in the fish market.
"Yamazuke" of salmon is made with the special recipe and can not be savored in other area of the globe. I brought them to Hawaii when I visited in last October but it seemed that they were not so popular in the party.
