The moss phlox garden seemed to have been named "Moss Phlox Hill" . The small hill shaped like Mt. Yotei made a good contrast with the original motif mountain. The Mishimas actually did a good job and showed them to the visitors for free of charge.
The garden was swamped by many visitors. The Mishimas provided the visitors with the parking lot in cooperation with the owners of the adjacent real estates and the visitors had walk to the garden from the parking lot for ten or fifteen minutes.
It must have taken for years for the moss phlox to spread their beautiful colors to such extensive space. The Mishimas did not require the entrance fee or other kind of payment. We really appreciate the hospitality shown by the Mishimas. Kudos to the kind farmer !
