His Excellency Mr. Korkut GÜNGEN, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey visited Sapporo and deliver the speech at the beginning of the Opening Ceremony of the Photo Exhibition of Turkey " 100 Discoveries".
Mayor of Sapporo City Mr. Katsuhiro Akimoto deliver the words of appreciation and congratulations as the host city of the event. The photos of a variety of the charm and landscape of Turkey seemed to be appealing to the mass media and the participants.
It was a pity that I could not raise glass with Ambassador GÜNGEN and treat him and his able staff to culinary delights sourced locally in Hokkaido but he promised me to be invited the dinner hosted by me to raise glass.
