International Exchange Gala !

"International Exchange Gala" was held by Hokkaido Legislative Assembly. The members of the Assembly have visited a variety of countries to make the benefit of Hokkaido real.
The heads of the consulates and consulate-generals reportd on their efforts exerted in the exchange between Hokkaido and their countries.

Ms. Rachel Brunette-Chen, Principal Officer of the Consulate General of the U.S.A in Sapporo got the meting started. Mr. Andrey A. Fabrichnikov, Consul General of Rusian Federation in Sapporo follwed.  Mr. Pak Hyunkyu, Consul General of Korea in Sapporo was the third.

Consul General of China in  Sapporo Mr. Zhen Yong Sun appreciated enough the cooperation provided by Hokkaido Legislative Assembly and Hokkaido Government when the Prime Minister of China Mr. Ke Qiang Li
visited Hokkaido.

Mr. Ronald Green, Consul of Australia wrapped up the report from envoys in Sapporo and Mr. Toru OHTANI proposed a toast, praying for deepening and widening the relationship between Hokkaido and the countries they represent. Happy Merry Christmas and a happy New Year !
