"In celebration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Sweden, a great variety of events are taking place this year," said Swede Ambassador.

He also mentioned, "Swedish Center Foundation has continuously contributed to the cultural exchange between Japan and Sweden, notably within the creative arts."

"Their initiative to invite Swedish artists to practice and teach traditional Swedish handicrafts for the past three decades has this year culminated in the C exhibition in which the art of past  and present artists is showcased." Ambassador said.
