The smell of sulfur was getting stronger a little bit on the trail to the peak of Mt. Esan. We saw a few trekkers on the trail on that day. The entrance of the trail was paved so nicely.
The highland was not covered with the flowers of azalea when we visited this year. Mt. Esan is not so high but the scenery on the highland was another thing.
We left the paved trail and went up the rocky hillside of the mountain on our right hand side. We could see another peak on our left hand side. It seemed easier to reach the peak than that of Mt. Esan.
