On the hillside of Mt. Esan !

Other peaks could be seen from the trail on the hillside of Mt. Esan.  There was no big trees on the highland at the foot of Mt.Esan.

I am not sure the reason why big trees could not grow on this highland but remember that Mt. Esan is active volcano.

The soil that contains much sulfur may be too tough for plants to grow up and heat of the ground might prevent the ground from flourishing with green plants.
