Coming back to the humans' world !

The temperature was getting higher as I getting down to the foot of Mt. Kurodke. To be honest, I could not take photos of the beautiful landscape on my way to the ski lift station on the hillside.

Compared to the switch-back trail on the hillside, straight-to-the-peak route from the ski lift station was so scary, particularly, on way back to the station.

Under the cloud, the scenery the human beings were used to was appeared. It was where we can live. Mental vertical limit might be lower than biological one.

Should I ski to go down the hill ?

The hillside of Mt. Kurodake was getting not-so-steep as I getting down to the ski lift station. The hillside might be so exciting for skiing but for trekkers, it was so scary, to be honest.

I recognized that trekking on the hillside of such mountains in June required us to equip amply.

Lonely trekking was heading to the way of my sweet home where my wife would come back from the business jaunt and waited for me.

Vague Scenery !

Going down to the ski lift station on the hillside of Mt. Kurodake, my smartphone cooled down on the peak of the mountain started to have drains on the lens.

That gave these photos of the hillside of the mountain a twist and vague taste like an illusion.

After going through the cloud that covered the hillside, the clear view of the underworld started to be seen from the hillside. To be honest, steep hillside covered with white snow scared me enough.

I can say that getting down to the ski lift station was much more dangerous than crawling up the hillside. I did not put the spike on my trekking shoes.

 It is called "Tsuboashi" by trekkers to climb the hillside without spikes on the shoes. Tsubo means "pot" in Japanese.

The holes on the snow made by the trekkers were the place to step in to get the  good grid on the snow. That is why it is called "tsuboashi", I think.

Present from the Deities !

The clear view of mountains seemed to be the present from the deities.  The countenances of the garden where the deities were romping around was changing so swiftly onthat day. 

 Some moving points could be seen from the peak of Mt. Kurodake. They were the trekkers heading to the peak.

The plants seemed to bear the coldness of the area but even under such harsh condition, they were blooming at the altitude of 1986 meters and show the pretty flowers to the trekkers.

The cloud that covered the peak of Mt. Kurodake. Can you see the hillsides of adjacent mountains around me?

Usually I go with my wife to the peaks of mountains as a good sherpa. But that time, I really enjoyed trekking and the scenery from the peak of Mt. Kurodake for myself.

It was a little bit dangerous for my wife to climb the mountain which hillside was covered with snow. That time, lonely climbing was the right choice.

The garden where the deities are romping around is the highland located at the center of Hokkaido Island. Trekking from the peak to another peak seemed to be so exciting.

One-hour trekking to the peak of Mt. Kurodake leads to the world where you also can stroll around with easy going up and down.

That may make you forget everything uncomfortable if you have enough equipment for that. Do you want to try ?
