Getting down the hillside !

I can say that getting down to the ski lift station was much more dangerous than crawling up the hillside. I did not put the spike on my trekking shoes.

 It is called "Tsuboashi" by trekkers to climb the hillside without spikes on the shoes. Tsubo means "pot" in Japanese.

The holes on the snow made by the trekkers were the place to step in to get the  good grid on the snow. That is why it is called "tsuboashi", I think.
