I found many driftwood on Honmoku Beach on the west coast of Hokkaido Island.They were carried by the waves and current of the ocean. I also found a green stone near the beach. It might be a jade and I tried to break it but I could not.
The driftwood of this size must have been carried by big waves in the storm, considering the distant from the water to this point. Decades ago, this beach was also washed up by Ohtsunami in summer.
I left the green stone on the beach but I should bring it to Sapporo and check up the kind of the stone by all means to clear my doubt. I regret a little bit but the stone might have to be there.
