It is very interesting to find the difference between the giant clam in Palau and the
one in Ile des Pins, New Caledonia. The lips of the giant clam in Palau is beige or gray.
But the ones in New Caledonia are violet, pink, blue and have a variety of colors. At first, I could not understand what the colorful wave lines on the bottom of the ocean in New Caledonia.
The giant clams in Palau are so simple and huge. As I could not take ample time to research under the water in Palau, there may be colorful ones even in Palau but it must be done in my next chance to visit Palau.
