Sapporo Spring !

At the beginning of spring, cherry and Japanese apricot blossoms bloom at almost the same time. That is different from the timing in the main island of Japan.

 In the main island of Japan, called Honshu, Japanese apricot blossoms bloom at first and do cherry blossoms next.

 These Japanese apricot trees are on the premises of Hokkaido University. Besides, Asahiyama area of Sapporo City is on the hillside of Asahiyama. It is so-called "Uptown". So nicely sophisticated restaurants are in the area with luxurious mansions. I jogged around the area while my car was through regular check-up.
