Hawaii Moanalua High School-SIT and Radio !

by Kazu

The students of Moanalua High School seemed to have exchanged their "Line "address to communicate each other with the students of Hokkaido Intercultural and Technological High School.
The student of Moanalua High School also visited Art Club of SIT on that day. They were so impressed with the art works of oil-painting being made by the members of the club.
To wrap up their activities on that day, they visited Northwave Radio Broadcasting Studio in Sapporo and enjoyed the talk with the personality of the radio program "Radio Groove".

Hawaii Moanalua High School- SIT Exchange 2!

by Kazu

As time wen by, the students of Moanalua High School and Sapporo Intercultural and Technological High School spent more time in talking than practicing the patterns of defense and attack.
The time to say good-bye was closing. Some of them may continue to communicate each other. For the students who don't have a good command in English, it may be tough to correspond in English frequently.
But it may be the good chance to get a good command of English. The point is the eagerness to communicate something to the person whom you want to convey the information or what you think.

Hawaii Moanalua High School- SIT 2!

by Kazu

It seemed that each of the students from Hawaii Moanalua High School found their own partner in learning how to use Naginata, long-handled sword and talking on their lives. It might be the longest day for the students from Moanalua High School in Hawaii.

I have to send these photos to them all soon. I hope that they will remember their visit Hokkaido and talk with their friends in SIT.

And they will visit Hokkaido again and meet their friends graduated SIT. The Sister-state relationship will be handed down to the next generation. Yes, we will keep the solid, beneficial and ever-lasting relationship for the future of each region.

Hawaii Moanalua High School- SIT Exchange !

by Kazu

The students from Hawaii Moanalua High School learned well how to use Japanese long-handled sword called Naginata and the patterns of attack and defense.
I was so happy to see the students of Moanalua High School and Sapporo Intercultural and Technological High school were having a chat with their would-be friends.
One of the students of SIT has a good command of English. So I could not find any difficulties in their exchange and talk.

Buckwheat and Seaweed Noodle "Hegi Soba" !

by Kazu

This type of buckwheat noodle peculiar to Niigata Prefecture is called "Hegi Soba". It is made of buckwheat powder and seaweed. The texture is smooth and jiggly.
So tasty ice cream is sold near the entrance of the shop and such kind of delicious buckwheat noodle can be savored on the second floor with the lighting of good taste. Each light bulb seemed to be put in the tea muddling whisk. I could not take photos of the entrance because some people were at the cashier.
