Sapporo City View from the Lavender Hill !

It had been decided we would receive a Korean girl in a part of Jenesis Program conducted by Japan International Cooperation Agency and Hokkaido International Exchange and Cooperation Center.

We planned to take her to this place and checked up the situation of the blooming lavender on that day.

Soon the flowers including lavender would fully flourish and our guest would enjoy this city view and taking photos with these flowers.

 

The Lavender Garden in Sapporo City !

The Lavender Hill require 500 Japanese Yen to enter the garden by car and to park the car on the peak of the hill or the hillside from where the city view of Sapporo can be seen.

Violet flowers shaped spheres were standing and blooming on the city side of the hill. They seemed to need the circumstance with no strong wind because they stood higher than other plants.

The flower balls were swinging in the comfy wind on the hillside near Horomi Pass.

Do you happen to know that there is a lavender garden from where the scenery of Sapporo City can be seen ?The Lavender Hill is near Horomi Pass on the west side of the city.

The flowers of lavender had not fully flourished yet  but the aroma of the flowers  filled up the air.Not so many visitors were on the hill yet but all the visitors were taking memorial photos with their families and friends. It was on a certain weekend inearly summer.

Have you ever seen the Statue of Buddha in Ashiaetsu City that has produced quality coal for decades? It also has a beautiful accommodation with hot spring spa and five-story Buddhism Tower of Japanese traditional design.

"Gatatan" noodle soup and "Gatatan" fried rice are the local soul dishes that were brought by a Chinese Cuisine Restaurant in the cityand loved by coalmine workers for decades. 

They can be savored in the restaurant of the roadside station in Ashibetsu and the ones in the city. Please try them to imagine the life of the coalmine workers.

 

Ishiya Confectionery Flower Garden !

We visited the flower garden run by the most famous and popular confectionary, Ishiya Seika in Hokkaido.

Various kinds and colors of flowers including roses filled up the space with their beauties and aroma subtly.

The garden was not so large but was well-trimmed and loved. The confectionary factory was back side of the garden and still moving on that Saturday.

 

Business Jaunt to Sunagawa City !

I've never dreamed on pastral work, life and economy before but watching a herd of sheep on the premises of the agricultural experimental early in the morning made made me so comfortable and kind . 

The grass on the field was cut but the sheep wer picki up an eat the rest amd new buds of the grass under the bright sunshine.

On the same day, I was taken to the newly-opened eatery in Sunagawa City.The fried chicken set had huge volume that I brought some of them for my wife.

 

Wilderness Cafe in Yoichi Town !

The rows of popular trees stood so nicely against the back ground of the spectacular artistic collaboration of the sunlight, clouds and blue sky. 

We were so impressed by " Wilderness Cafe" on the beach in Yoichi Town that we made it a point to have Cafe Latte watching the cape of Shakotan Peninsula on our way to Kutchan/ Niseko Area from Sapporo.

It seemed so popular for the expatriates and tourists from overseas. Some English-speaking people were hanging out and chatting there.

 

Niseko Hanazono Village will develop!

Nowadays, cycling races have been arranged in Kutchan/Niseko Area, Hokkaido. The signs for the bike race were here and there around Hanazono Area , Niseko on that day.

Jogging around the area, I checked up the timing of traffic regulations on that day.

Before the start of the bicycle race, we left the area, to savor the seasonal seafood sea urchin with scallop in Kakizaki Seafood  Restaurant in Yoichi.

The scallop rice bowl was topped with salmon roe and Japanese herb "Shiso". I also love the miso soup of the restaurant.My wife seemed so satisfied with the taste of the  seasonal Godsend so much.

 

The Villa Stood on the Slope !

It must be tough to strike a good balance between development and preserving the nature after building up the consensus of all the concerned.

Some foreign developers bought the real estate in Kutchan/Niseko Area and built upscale accommodations in the veggie fields and pastral charms and scenery. Too much development should

be avoided but the beauties of the region should be made the most of for the future of the people in the area.

The Relaxation Room in Hotel Nikko Niseko Style!

This is the relaxation room adjacent to the hot spring spa in Hotel Nikko Niseko Style.After soaking our bodies tired and exhausted in the cozy hot spring bath, we sat back and stretched our legs on the ergonomic chairs.

The Adventure Center and Hotel Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono could be seen from the chairs. The zipline and the downhill ski courses were almost empty on that day.

The site where Hanazono Village would be developed was still be  "naked" and waiting for the new constructor,
