Seagull Island "Kamome-jima" in Esashi Town !

 by Kazu

This is the replica of the ship "Kaiyou-maru" that was wrecked offshore of the town at the end of Edo Era.  This replica was made of ferro-concrete.
It is beside the way to "Kamome-jima" from the edge of the town. The island connected to the town has very nice beach called Ebisu-hama" that means "the beach of the deity of luck in Japanese.
It was too early to enjoy snorkeling around this area for ordinary people but for me, very comfortable to dive into  the ocean o that day.
