Mt. Moiwa in Sapporo City !

I am sorry for my mistake to set the direction of the photos ofthe scenery of Sapporo City in magic hour. My wife and I went to the top of Mt. Moiwa before sunset. After the Wuhan virus from China spread on this globe, Sapporo City arranged fee ride on the rope way to the top of Mt. Moiwa and other attraction in the city.  

The blue sky was turning to darker color as the sun disappearing to the sky of western part of the globe. It was during the summer vacation in 2020, so many families with kids swamped the station of the rope way.  

The clouds reflected the sunshine from the sun setting to the west. We could not see the sun anymore but the sunshine showed its power on the clouds. It would be fine on the next day.

Small Cafe in Kiyosato !

We dropped by the roadside station in Kiyosato . The tourists could take memorial photos with the bronze medalists of the carling games in Pyong Chiang Olympic Games. 

There seemed to be another place to have lunch and sweets in Kiyosato Town. We bought some dumplings, ice cream and a panini there for lunch.

A variety of dumplings were provided in the small cafe in the town. The cafe was so small that we almost passed by without recognizing the sign and building. Please be careful and keep an eye on the roadside.

Kaminoko-ike in Kiyosato 2 !

The reason why the pond was named "the Scion of God" is its beautiful blue color of the center part. It was like an eye in the woods.  

It was not so famous before but SNS and the Internet made it popular in Hokkaido. Normally, the water of the pond reflects the green color of the woods but the pond showed its beautiful blue color in the woods.

The natural wild forest showed its variety of fauna and flora and it had a fountain near the national road. The blue pond appeared in front of us in the forest.

"Kaminoko-ike" in Kiyosato !

We left the shrine in Kiyosato Town, we visited "the Pond for the scion of God" "Kami-no-ko Ike" in Japanese. It was the first time for me to visit there even though I was born in Kitami City near Kiyosato Town.

The pond and the river from the pond were surrounded by wooden decks to look into the blue water where some fish were swimming. 

The water from the bottom of the pond went the body of Mt. Shari-dake through the ground and appeared in the pond. Please do not drink the water on the surface of the ground in Hokkaido even if the wate looks so pure and clean. 

The accommodation was not damaged by Wuhan virus from China !

We left the comfortable accommodation "Freeze" in Kiyosato Town and headed to a Shinto Shrine that had a spiritual fountain on the premises. Going across the river from the fountain, the approach to the Shrine on the hill was on the hillside. 

The mild slope to the shrine was in the shade of the trees and the wind through the trees seemed to give the power to the visitors walking up to the top. 

This is the photo of the sacred area of the shrine. The water from the fountain is called "Raiun-no-mizu" which means "the water that bring good luck." Many tourists visit there and pour the water to the tanks they bring.

Breakfast in "Freeze", Kiyosato !

After taking shower and enjoyed the outside bath, I was eager to be blown by the comfortable wind outside the villa. Nobody was on the lawn, other than myself. 

The staff brought our breakfast to the table on the deck. The quality of the food materials were so high as that of the dinner we had.

The minestrone struck me as the art of the gifted land the hamburger was superb to energize our bodies and souls. My aunt and wife seemed to be struck by the taste and quality of the breakfast with marvelous scenery. 

Fly again, cicada !

At last, I found the source of the noise on the road. It was a little bit too cold for insects early in the morning. So the cicada could not move nor fly from the road. I took it to the roadside and put on the plant.   

Their time as an imago is very short. Searching for the spouse, they have to make sound to attract females. Yes, they have to burn the flame of their lives in a week or so.

After coming back to the villa we stayed, the peak of Mt. Shari-dake appeared and showed us the beautiful skyline and its shape. It may be tough for beginners to reach the peak without skilled guides.
