The ceremony to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the immigrants from Hokkaido to Paraguay started with the opening and welcome remarks by the Honorary Chairman of All Paraguay Hokkaido Society Union Mr. Toshikazu SHIROSAWA. He established special relations with the top brasses of the republic of Paraguay.
His son Mr. Naoki SHIROSAWA is the current President of the entity and delivered the speech of appreciation and their hope for the future.
The Ambassador of Japan to Paraguay His Excellency Mr. Naohiro ISHIDA also delivered welcome remarks and praised the efforts exerted by the immigrants from Hokkaido and their descendants to establish the solid trust of them in the society of Paraguay.
