To the Great waterfalls !

Another luxurious hotel could be seen from the courtyard of the hotel we stayed.  It was like the Atlantic Hotel in Bahama. In the vast jungle of Brazil, such rain forest resorts were breathing. 

 The long shadow of the fence shows  that the photo was taken just after the sunrise. It was a little before the time of the breakfast on that day.

 After taking shower and having a breakfast, we headed to Iguazu Waterfalls.
This is the world of waterfalls.

Viva, Iguazu Resort Hotel 3 !

This is the bar counter beside the spa of the hotel. No alcohol could be served in the morning. Washroom is not so close to the bar counter. 

 Normally, the backyard of the hotel should not be introduced but for the security when the Governor of Hokkaido stayed in this resort hotel in the future, I post this photo here.

There were many places to wash the foot near the pool. It must be so hot in summer of the southern half of this globe.

Viva, Iguazu Resort Hotel 2 !

After the Wuhan virus conquered all over the world, this resort hotel may be showing the same scenery because of the lack of guests. I am not sure if the city was locked down or not but I hope the hot spring spa resort will be swamped by many tourists son after the human beings got over the viral biological weapon. 

 The mist evaporating from the surface of the swimming pool showed that the temperature of the water was much higher than the air.

Some guests were running on the treadmill but nobody was in the swimming pool on that day. No kid was playing on the beach. I am afraid of the future where such scenery would continue forever after the Wuhan virus prevailed over the world.

It was a pity that we could not see many youths wearing swimming gears around the swimming pools but the beautiful courtyard of the resort hotel in the morning may not need such human beings to take these photos. 

 When I jogged around the courtyard of the hotel early in the morning, the Speaker of Hokkaido Assembly Mr. Noritoshi MURATA and his wife Mrs. Noriko Murata walked around there in the darkness.

 They found me jogging around this area and was a little bit surprised but soon they recognized me and greeted so nicely.

Spring has come ?

These flowers bloom first on the premises of Hokkaido University in spring every year. Are these  Corydalis ambigua ? I can see the flowers every morning recently. The blue color make feel that I am still dreaming early in the morning. Cherry blossoms and Japanese apricot blossoms will bloom following this blue color.

I could not see the guests swimming in the pool during my stay in the hotel. Of course, I did in the night after the dinner. Without the ocean view, but with the gift of Parana River and the plenty of water from Iguazu Waterfalls, It was a water resort.

It was a pity that we could stay in the hotel only one night but it was a business jaunt. We should fulfill our duty and achieve the goals of our jaunt. 

We had a lot to do during our stay in Brazil. We had to head to Sao Paulo on that day. Many friends were waiting for us.

The restaurant the Hokkaido Delegation members had a buffet dinner was "Rafain". We really enjoyed the performance of the dancers and the music players in the night. Some of the members were so tired that before the last stage of the performance, we left the restaurant.

When we arrived in the resort hotel after the drive from Ciudad del Este in Paraguay, we could not get the perspectives of the hotel but early in the next morning, we recognized the beauty of the facility.

It was not so hot in this area of Brazil when we visit there last August. It was so comfortable to jog around on the wide premises of the hotel.

Iguazu Waterfalls !

The Hokkaido Delegation visited Iguazu Waterfall in Paraguay. It was the first time for me to see the waterfalls but I had visited Niagara Waterfalls in Canada several times before. So I have to see the rest of the great three waterfalls on this globe.
Yes, it's Victoria Great Waterfalls.

Before that, I had to enjoy the great landscape of this waterfalls amply. When I had a glance at the waterfalls through the trees, I thought it's smaller than I expected before .

But it was my misunderstanding about the scale of the waterfalls. I saw only part of the whole waterfalls located at  the deepest area. there was a nice resort hotel near the waterfalls like this.

Dance in South America !

The show time got started on the stage in the restaurant. A variety of dances were performed. They were the traditional dance of Paraguay bottle dance, Tango Argentino, Capoeira in Brazil.   , 

Capoeira is not a dance originally. The slaves chained with iron ball used their leg to swing the iron ball to fight against the owners of the plantations.

Basically, swing or straight kicks were the main attack of Capoeira. Before the dark heritage of the dark era, Bolivian dance was flourished on the stage. 

Adjustment !

Just for the adjustment of my body clock to avoid jet lag, I jogged around and went to the pier of Kuhio Beach. Every time I visited Honolulu, Hawaii, the beautiful scenery  under the sunshine welcomed so much.

 Kudos to the deities of the pleasure islands, Hawaii ! I love to jog around with only swimming gear and jogging shoes but it is not acceptable, is prohibited in Japan.

In the evening, we visited the venue of the welcome dinner hosted by the Principal of Kalani High School Dr. Mitchel OTANNI. So comfortable wind was blowing and bringing nice aroma of the food.
