Cinema Caravan in Niseko !

The event held through this summer and autumn before the white season of winter, "Cinema Caravan" had not started but the craft beer bar and some kitchen cars were ready to provide the visitors with their service and the experience of "Barrel Sauna". 

"Hotel Sansui" that has the restaurant on the ground floor run by the  nationwide tea company "Lupicia" that moved its headquarters to Niseko,  seemed to be open in this green season.

I could not find the tourists who were enjoying the food and drink sourced locally in the area but nobody looked so serious hanging around the stage. The peak of Mt. Yotei was still covered with the clouds shaped like an umbrella.    

 

Niseko Hirafu Green Park Event !

After the dinner we had on that day, we went down the Hirafu Slope and headed to the venue of Niseko Hirafu Caravan on the lower side of the slope. A few people were sitting around the core part of the venue.

The photos of the scenery taken in the daylights was not so appealing but the ones taken in the twilight made some fascinating atmosphere with the illumination.    

 

Dinner with Mt Yotei !

The cloud that covered the peak of Mt. Yotei turned pink reflecting the sunshine of setting sun. Having delicious dinner, the guests can see the scenery like us.  The boiled pork was so soft and tasteful.  

"

"Kamameshi" of salmon and salmon roes was also so delicious and energized us so much. The bitterness of "Mitsuba" grass gave us the imagination of the tough time when the farmers and other citizens of that area  faced so many years ago.  

The Chinese style fried rice was one of my wive's favorites but I forgot to remember the name of the female. When the huge stone were picked up from the seabed 57. The chef' was from Canada. We could have get of the objects displayed around the hotel.        

 

"Kasagumo" Dinner Course in Hotel Skye Niseko !

After refreshing in the hot spring spa in Hotel Skye Niseko, we had a little bit earlier dinner in Restaurant "Kumo" in Hotel Skye Niseko. We had "Kasagumo Dinner Course" on that day started with the mixture of cream cheese and smoked and fermented radish topped with small tomato. Dried sea weed and crisp sliced baguette accompanied.  

Mt. Yotei kept wearing the cloud shaped like an umbrella. The shade of the clouds on the green hillside of Mt. Yotei really entertained us so much on that day.

One of the main dishes after the starter, the dish of boiled pork block with grilled not-spicy peppers topped with shredded radish was served to our table.  Fried corn and mushroom followed the dish.

 

Display in Hotel Skye Niseko !

I have taken the photos of the display in "Hotel Setsu Niseko" but have not done that in Skye Niseko before. These are the the display of the pots on the ground floor of the annex building of the hotel. 

As time went by, Mt. Yotei showed us the changing countenances with the clouds in the sky. It was getting darker gradually. I was not so hungry but the landscape seemed to require me to enjoy the scenery with some alcohol and snacks.

One of the old hotels along the road of Hirafu Slope was destructed and the premises was waiting for the time of building the brand-new sophisticated hotel building facing the ski course. 

 

Mt. Yotei as time goes by !

I took one photo of Mt. Yotei per an hour and recognized the change of the landscape on that day. The shadows of the clouds on the hillside of Mt. Yotei were so clear and fascinating with various kinds of green color. 

Before raise the glass for the gifts from the nature on that day, I waited and took the chance to take the photos that show the change of the scenery. 

It was so luxurious way of spending time in the resort area.Watching the landscape that could be seen from our room in Hotel Niseko Skye, I was wondering if the event Cinema Caravan on the lower side of Hotel Niseko Skye would be held next year or not. 

 

The Great Swan Bridge in Muroran !

Going across the Great Swan Bridge "Hakuchou Oh Hashi" in Japanese, we imagined the tough work of the people and the material suppliers to build the big bridge decades ago. 

In order to check up the weak point to fix, the specialist should climb the tower of the bridge and knock the wires and towers with hammers to check up the parts which has something wrong. 

I've ever saw the scene the specialists check up the structure of the bridge on TV and that made me imagine the scene in which some mistakes were conducted by the specialists.

 

What we require to Niseko !

We love the design of the rooms of this hotel Skye Niseko and other hotels run by the foreign affiliated company such as "Setsy Niseko" and "Ki Niseko". We've never tried Maple Lodge, Aya Niseko, Sansui Niseko.  

The peak of Mt. Yotei was still covered with white clouds and the photo spot with the monument of "Niseko" was left alone with the great landscape. Soon the place would be the place the guests would take photos.

The main dining "Kumo" in the hotel has many staff of a variety of nationalities. I have talked the staff from Czech, New Zealand, Arzentina(Patagonia) and Australia. Cinema Caravan Event was still scheduled on that Saturday but we could not find many tourists there unfortunately.   

 

Skye Niseko in summer !

My wife kindly arranged so-called "early check-in" on that day, almost no car was near the entrance of the hotel on that day. We were escorted to the studio room facing Mt. Yotei and adjacent hotel being constructed by the tower crane.

We make a point watching the YouTube program provided by "Mr. Suit" delivering the movie film on the travel mainly by train but he also gives us so nice information on the international flights and the destinations.

As the hotel has so nice common hot spring spa and sauna on the second floor of the annex building, our room has only shower booth in the bathroom. As it is the hotel mainly targeting the ski season in winter, a small but convenient kitchen is equipped for long stays.

 

The Highest Position of Hirafu Slope in Niseko !

It seemed that a new hotel to be run by foreign affiliated company will open before the coming winter of 2023. It is located next to one of our favorite hotel Skye Niseko run by a foreign company in Hong Kong? 

The ski course across the road on Hirafu Slope was covered with a variety of plants some of which were blooming in drab colors. Down hill bicycling is not so popular in Hokkaido but some facilities can provide the rental service.     

The peak of Mt. Yotei was hidden by the cloud shaped like an umbrella. Suh kind of cloud is called "Kasa Gumo" in Japanese which means umbrella cloud. The name is used for the chef's signature dinner course in the main dining in Hotel Niseko Skye named "Kumo" which means cloud in Japanese.
