President of the Paraguay Hokkaido Society Mr. Naoki SHIROSAWA was handed a memento of the Hokkaido Delegation's visit. A lithograph of the former government office building of Hokkaido "Red Bricks" was sent to the Society from Hokkaido Government.
A red textile of the traditional Ainu pattern was sent to the Society from Hokkaido Legislative Assembly. Speaker Murata handed it to Mr. Naoki Shirosawa.
Speaking of the second row on the stage, the President of Japan-Brazil and Paraguay Friendship Association in Hokkaido Mr. Tomoyoshi MICHISHITA who is one of the most powerful driving force of the exchange between Hokkaido and Brazil was also there.
The former Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Osamu TAKAI, current President of Ito-gumi Company sent a saucer of cut glass to Mr. Naoki SHIROSAWA. The Chair of Hokkaido Mayors' Association Mr. Shozo UENO(Mayor of KitaHiroshima City) and the Chair of Hokkaido Town and Village Association Mr. Takao TANANO(Mayor of SHiranuka Town.) were also on the stage.
