Commend the efforts of the immigrants from Hokkaido !

Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Yusuke NAKANO read up the description on the certificate of commendation and the name of the people to be praised. The first generation of the immigrants from Hokkaido were in their 80's or 90's.

 Vice Governor Nakano handed the certifficate of commendation to each recipient. Each recipient seemed to be pleased to have and see the certificate, I thought. We, Hokkaido Delegation members were also delighted to see them pleased.

For elder recipients, Vice Governor Nakano walked to them seated on the chair. I hope each recipients won't forget the honor to be commended by Governor of Hokkaido Naomichi SUZUKI.
