The Hokkaido/Sapporo Declaration on the commitment to become the Green Power House of Japan and other countries making the most of offshore wind power and other renewable energy.
The declaration was announced by the MC Ms. Takako Sugai and Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Naomichi Suzuaki and Mayor of Sapporo City delivered the words of their commitment witnessed by the representatives of G7 countries and EU as well as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark His excellency Mr. Peter Taksoe-Jensen who played the key role to make the concept a reality.
The Ambassador and the representatives of EU and G7 countries also delivered the words of expectation and their commitment to give supports to the initiative. We really appreciate their consideration and cooperation. Thank you very much for coming to witness.
