The representatives of G7 countries and EU who witnessed the Hokkaido/Sapporo Declaration got together on the stage in Sapporo Dome. Each of them was introduced by the MC Ms. Takako Sugai who was the weather forecast caster of local TV program.
His Excellency Mr. Peter Taksoe-Jensen Ambassador of Kingdom of Denmark who played the key role in issuing the Hokkaido/Sapporo Declaration and shared the information on this with other Embassies of ＥＵ countries in Tokyo, was introduced first. Next was Ms. Ditte Maia Juul Jorgensen, Director General for Energy of EU.
The third was Mr. Raymond F. Greene, Principal Minister of Embassy of the USA. Mr. Marcus Shuermann, Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Japan seemed to be nervous. Mr. Francesco Paolo Cannito, Counsellor, Embassy of Italy kindly showed the presence of Italy on the spot. Mr. Jean-Philippe Davignon, First Secretary of Embassy of Canada that was my second home country, also showed their friendship and pleased me so much.
