The fort of Japanese Imperial Army in Peleliu Island seemed so small and vulnerable. They could not expect to come back to their home country. What a sad story they experienced in fact! They were caught in the trap built by the communists and greedy nations that exploited from their colonies.
I couldn't believe that the able General of Japanese Imperial Army and the headquarters figureed out such suicide-like operation on this coral island Peleliu. The same kinds of mistakes are being conducted in the central government of Japan.
