It has been almost six years since the Sister-state Affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii was established in May 7, 2017. In retrospect, without the fear of contagious disease except for flu, we could be at ease even in the international flight to Honoluklu.
I will post the photos of the ceremony to celebrate the Fifth Anniversary of the Sister-state Affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii later but we should be stay on our toes to avoid the infection of the contagious disease even in 2022 and 2023.
We could enjoy and savor enough the culinary delicacies sourced in the mainland of the US at that time without masks. the things have changed and will never be the same.
