I hope the last monarchy of Hawaii Kingdom Queen Liliuokalani spent her happy life in composing a variety of tunes including Aloha oe with her family even if their monarchy was taken away by the United States.
The song of Aloha Oe has been sung and loved by the people of Hawaii for decades. It may be a sad song but makes us feel the time going by, lives of the people who can not live forever.
Various kinds of traditional accessories, pots and a white western dress worn by Princess Kaiulani were displayed on the second floor of the Washington Place. They were unwilling to lose their land and houses but they could not fight the uphill battle against the greedy people.
