The two tuna rice-bowl set was our choice on that day. Both of us could choose two kinds of rice-bowl from the several choice on the menu. Minced fresh raw blue fin tuna, red tuna called "akami" soaked in the special sauce, and slices of fatty tuna rice-bowl rushed to our table.
Sticky yam paste and boiled radish and tuna accompanied with the protagonists. Each of them made us so happy and satisfied amply. Other guests also looked so happy and enjoying the quality and taste. Again, it is "Sea gen" in Tsukiji. Hokkaido eateries have to compete with this kind of top level restaurant in Tokyo down the line.
Besides, we had a break in a cafe run by a well-established Japanese sweet shop "Tsuruya Yoshinobu"in COREDO headquartered in ancient capital city Kyoto after long strolling in Tokyo. It was so nice to have shaved ice flavored with Matcha green tea and condensed milk and topped with sweet red bean paste. It was about ten US dollars.
