After the long silence brought by the pandemic of covid-19, the cozy restaurant run by a region-wide confectionery chain "Rokkatei" , named "Rokka Sansou" was reopened in May of 2023.
So many aficionados had been waiting for its reopen. After the three years of closing, the mascot alligator made of metal aged and rusted a little bit. The long bridge from the road to the restaurant in the woods was covered with new wood chips. Stepping forward to the entrance of the restaurant was so comfortable.
The lunch menu varies day by day. It requires reservation. The food quality is very high. The ingredients of the dishes sourced locally. The chef patissier was working in the flagship patisserie in Obihiro City. The protagonist of the lunch on that day was beef tongue stew. We were struck by the first sip of the delicious brown.
