At around eleven o'clock on that day, the Blue Pond in Biei Town was still calm and not swamped by the tourists. In high season, so many tourists visit this pond that they have to wait for their turn to enter the parking lot.
I strongly recommend to visit there early in the morning, to enjoy your trip this area. A much more convenient parking lot was prepared near his pond. Several years ago, we had to walk to the pond from the former parking lot for longer time.
