The Representative of Taiwan Mr. Shinshi Nien paid a courtesy call on the Vice Governor of Hokkaido Mr. Shunsuke TSUCHIYA with ambition to establish a cooperative relationship with Hokkaido in economic and disaster-control area.
The powerful members of Hokkaido Legislative Assembly Mr. Noritomo WADA and Mr. Ryuji KASAI accompanied with the expectation to strengthen the relationship with Taiwan. They took part in the Summit Meeting of local legislatures held in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture and recognized the necessity to exchange more frequently with Taiwan.
