Niseko Distillery!

Niseko Distillery was founded in 2019 and opened October this year. We asked the distillery to arrange the private tour for us on that day. It was at the foot of Niseko Annupri ski course.They have made GIN from alcohol made in Niigata Prefecture and the botanical flavors of Yachi willow and Japanese mint sourced in Hokkaido.

The pot still was made in Switzerland. Hakkai Brewery is headquartered in Niigata Prefecture. They exlored to Niseko and making the most of the soft water that sprang out from Mt. Niseko Annupri, they decided to make whisky. They are professionals to make Japanese Sake by brewing and they learned to make whisky by distilling.
