Going through the fog drifting around Hanazono area of Niseko Town, I went back to Hirafu area of Niseko. Inhaling the mist of the fog with the cold air was so refreshing and inspiring.
Mt. Niseko Annupri and the downhill skiing courses started to be seen from the lower area. The surface of the road was not slippery and safe on that day.
But soon, the area including the roads will be covered with heavy snow and colored white. One of the most tough duty to live in this area is snow shoveling. It may be a good exercise but it depends on the total balance of the snowfall.
