The old Public Hall "Motomachi Kokaidou" was lit up like a oil painting in the darkness.The contrast of pale blue and yellow looked so gorgeous and sophisticated. I would like to spend a week in the area with my wife annually after our retirement, if possible.
My father had lived at the foot of Mt. Hakodate-yama, Yachigashira Area for three years and enjoyed his business and private life so much. I liked to see him smiling when he talked about his life there.
I am not sure the cost for the lighting up of the building and adjacent facilities but it payed off, I thought. So many tourists enjoyed and walked around the building to make fabulous memories of the port city.
