Fortunately, my friend Mrs. Nikki Thompson took the role as an interpreter in the meeting of Hokkaido Delegation and Waipahu High School. I was so relieved to see her at the venue of the event.
The current Principal of the high school Dr. Zachary Sheets kindly received us and took time for the meeting. Besides, his predecessor is Dr. Keith Hayashi, the incumbent Educational Superintendent of the State of Hawaii.
It seemed that so able figures should be assigned to this position. Dr. Sheets kindly explained the current situation of the education in Hawaii and the international exchange of his school.
