G7 got together for the Hokkaido/Sapporo Declaration !

Taking the opportunity of the G7 Ministers' Meeting on Climate, Energy and Environment in Sapporo, the Governor of Hokkaido and the Mayor of Sapporp Cityissued a declaration on the municipalities' commitment to contribute GX in Japan and the world, in addition to revitalize their regional economy and local production and consumption of energy through decarbonization.

To witness and support the declaration, the representatives of G7 countries got together in Sapporo Dome on April 15(Sat.), 2023.  They delivered their brief remarks so kindly. His Excellency Mr. Peter Taksøe-Jensen Royal Danish Embassy in Japan, Ms. Ditte Maria Juul Jørgensen, Director General for Energy EU, Mr. Raymond F. Greene, Principal Minister, Embassy of the USA,   

Ms. Maria Skrinar, Director for International Net Zero: Eneagy & Trade, Department for Energy of the UK, Mr. Marcus Schuermann, Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Japan, Mr. Francesco Paolo Cannito, Counsellor, Embassy of Italy in Japan, Mr. Jean-Philippe Davignon, First Secretary(Energy & Envuronment) Embassy of Canada in Japan, kindly joined the declaration event to show their support to the commitment.
