These are the miracle four who contributed to establishing a sister-state affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii. Ms. Reiko T. Rogers, one of the Hokkaido Smile Ambassadors in Hawaii. She is the parsonality of the radio program "Island Breeze from Hawaii" broadcast by Northwave in Hokkaido.
Various kinds of the products from Hokkaido were here and there in J-Shop in Honolulu and many customers started to come into the shop and try the sample of the products. They seemed to be so happy when they tried the Hokkaido foods and bought them a lot.
Another MC of the event Hokkaido Festival started to play her role and led off the program. She introduced the main delegation members and the products from Hokkaido in the shop. The regulations on importing the products from Japan is very strict in the USA. I was wondering if we could lift the regulation on food import from Japan, particularly from Hokkaido.
