The performance by the Brass Band Team from Sapporo Intercultural and Technological High School implied the end of the signing ceremony and the reception to celebrate the new Sister-State Affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii on that day.
Their performance was so popular and played up the event so much. They did a good job actually. All the costs of them to visit Honolulu and play their performance were paid by the prefectural government.
The bride and bridegroom were congratulated by my friends as well as the Governor of Hokkaido, at that time, because I invited them when i gave them a ride on a taxi to come back from Kahara Shopping Mall to Waikiki. I could not eat the delicious meal there but drank a plenty of beer in the venue. This is the result of my work.
