On the stage of the signing-up ceremony to establish a new sister-state affiliation between Hokkaido and Hawaii, the performance of the indigenous people in Hokkaido Ainu started.
Precisely speaking, the famous performer of Ainu Mr. Hideo Debo AKIBE sang the song "Irankarapute".
It is the greeting words which means "Let me touch your heart so tenderly."
It is the song for the promotion of the Ainu culture and the modus operandi to live with the nature. The first chorus was sung by Mr. Akibe. The second chorus was sung by the people on the stage and the third was by all the participants to the event.
