When we visited Waikiki for the first time more than twenty years ago, we stayed in this old wing of Moana Surf-rider Hotel. The bathroom and bathtub were small but we had really enjoyed our stay.
I had bought an open-heart pendant of Tiffany on the ground floor of the hotel. We were so fascinated by the banyan tree in the courtyard. The seedling of the tree was planted in 1904.
It was about 90 years old when we visited for the first time and is 118 years old at least now. We are missing the mother tree.
