The snow on the main road to the lift station for the hillside of Mt. Asahi(dake) had already been taken away but the pressed heavy snow was left on the both sides of the road. The entrance of each hotel was closed with the heavy snow. The estate manager of each facility was struggling to take off the snow to open the entrance approach.
It will take seven months to see the scenery again in next winter. It was so cold there in the morning that I continued to move around in the cold air on the highland. I went up to the lift station at the upper end of this road.
The parking lot of Hotel La Vista Mt. Asahi(dake), Daisetsuzan had not been taken care of and a plenty of snow was there. It was impossible to drive out of the parking lot at that time. The shovel truck was not moving on the parking lot of the hotel.
The lift station seemed to be closed when I reached there.
