The parking lot of the lift station was closed and covered with heavy snow in that morning. An auto-loader was taking away the snow actively but it would take a while to finish the work.
The approach to the wooden lodge was completely closed with the heavy snow left by the auto-loader. There seemed to be no service to take away the snow fence in front of the entrance.
I've never stayed in this hotel "Yumoto Yukomasou". My wife and I are so satisfied with Hotel La Vista Mt.Asahi(dake) and Hotel Bear Monte Mt. Asahidake that we don't explore to other hotels. To be honest, we may be so conservative.
Different from other hotels, the approach road to the hotel "Yukomasou" was well-maintained and opened. I saw some cars on the parking lot of the hotel. Hotel industry is having tough time, affected by Covid-19. What can we do to maintain these comfortable and beautiful place in Hokkaido?
