What the Vice President of China saw !

Mr. Wang Qi Shan, the Vice President of China visited this area in autumn of  2019. His visit was not official but so many people accompanied with him. The autumnal foliage was so beautiful at that time and he seemed to be so satisfied with the landscape of Hokkaido including this area.

The sulfur gas filled up this area but the security police from China did not care about it. There were many tourists from China as well and they were so surprised at the VIP's visit to Hokkaido.

Mr. Wang walked through the wooden deck beside the valley and had a chat with the staff of Embassy of China in Tokyo. The consul General of China in Sapporo led him to the end of the deck and came back to the entrance of the trail.
